An Apple A Day Keeps The Fats Away

I just bought two packs of red apples to today.
I'm starting my apple diet tomorrow because i heard from a friend who lost weight by eating apples. It is said that if you eat an apple 15 minutes before your meal you will lose weight. Apples are high in fiber and water so if you eat an apple it will make you feel full so when you eat your meal you will eat less of it because of the apple you have eaten earlier.

My 1st Cheese Burger @ The Bee

Before this is was all chicken, chicken, chicken, pork, chicken chicken burgers.
So I took a step forward today in my foodie world and ordered a cheeseburger for the first time at The Bee in Jaya One - PJ.

I never knew beef patty burgers could taste so juicy !! Before this whenever i taste beef it always leaves a bad after taste in my mouth and sometimes the smell of it just makes me make my face like this - >__<""

This Cheeseburger at The Bee is really worth your money because the patty is almost as thick as your THUMB!!! And when you take your first bite, the meat just melts in your mouth along with the cheese and the more you munch the more juicy it gets. MMMMmm !!! You really can't taste the beefy taste.

I know the fries looks like a typical bunch you can get from McD - BUT NO!!!
You absolutely CANNOT get this from McD because although it may look the same - IT IS NOT THE SAME !!! McD's fries get cold and soggy but here it's fresh out from the fryer and still crunchy crunchy even after you slowly eat the burger.

The cost?
RM15 + 10% tax = RM16.50

To me it's a reasonable price considering it's location in Jaya One -PJ.

Beside the Cheeseburger, my friends had the Club Sandwich with chips, The Bee Burger - thumb size juicy beef patty and lastly Chili Cheese Fries.

If you're ever at Jaya One you better look out for The Bee because it's a must eat location for food lover~

Talent is Never Enough

I have just started this book called 'Talent is Never Enough' by John C. Maxwell - Yes, I read. It was an early Christmas gift I received from my university. Frankly it was for the 1st year scholars of 2011 but there were extras so me and another friend helped ourselves to one.

It's been awhile since I've picked up a non-comical, fictional, or whatever book.

I just went through the introduction and i kinda like it - Omg I've never liked a non-comical, fictional or whatever book!

This is my understanding of the introduction;
Everyone has a talent. Some are just naturally gifted and some work hard to obtain it. Having a talent alone will NOT guarantee you success in life. A lot must be done before anyone can truly be successful because having a talent is just the beginning. John C. Maxwell points out that everyone can be a talent-plus person. A talent-plus person simply means someone who has a talent and makes the right choices in life will succeed. What's the use of having a talent no one has but make all the wrong choices?

"The key choices you make - apart from the natural talent you already have - will set you apart from others who have talent alone."

I don't know whose quote is that because it wasn't stated in the book. But not bad right? I'm reading something good for once. I have 13 more chapters to go and I'm gonna finish this book! For real this time! No halfway or quarter-way or no-way! It's All-The-Way!

Jung Sungha in UCSI University, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia (4th Dec 2011)

Sixteen year old Jung Sungha is no ordinary Korea boy. He is the fingertip guitar prodigy of our generation and an amazing on at that.

He is a polite scrawny kid with a sweet smile and killer mad guitar skills. Some people are just born talented and Sungha happened to be one of them.

He arrived in Malaysia at 9.00AM and had little time to go site seeing as he had to practice for his two shows in UCSI University. The first show was at 5pm – 6pm and then it was the signing session for his CDs and T-shirts. Some people brought their own guitars and ukulele for Sungha to sign. Finally the 1st session ended shortly after 7pm and it was time to wait for the 2nd show to begin at 8pm.

At 7.45pm the doors of the Recital Hall opened to people to be seated. UCSI University’s recital hall has never been filled so quickly. It was a full house and was filled in record time. Audiences ranged from little children to the elderly were nicely seated at their designated seats and soon after 8pm, the emcee stepped on stage and introduced the talented Jung Sungha and the crowd went wild.

People would think after performing so many times at countless of stages Jung Sungha would sound more used to the atmosphere. But no. As he stepped onto the Recital Hall’s stage, Sungha dressed in a black blazer over a white T in skinny jeans and red sneakers sounded as timid as he usually is in his youtube videos politely bowed and introduced himself.

Throughout the whole almost 1 and a half hour seesion, Sungha played a total of 12 sets of songs. 9 sets of songs by guitar and 3 sets of songs by ukulele and the audience could see that he had fun with it. It was originally 10 songs but the crowd and the emcee begged for two more and Sungha, although tired, happily agreed.

At 9.30pm, the Recital hall emptied and everyone with a CD, T-shirt or an instrument packed the classroom outside for Sungha’s 2nd autograph session. Tired as he may seem, he granted all his fans wishes to take a picture with him and left everyone wanting more of his amazing guitar skills.

We hope that Sungha enjoyed his first time in Malaysia and will come back in the near future.
