Wrong Place at the Wrong Time

A cousin of mine posted a video in Facebook about a car accident that happened in Taman Midah a few days ago. The accident took place at the new Shell Station beside the McDonald's on the highway on the 30th March 2010, 10.30pm

It seemed that a white Honda Jazz or some said was a Hyundai Getz which was driven by a 23 year old women skidded into the Shell Petrol station and slammed into a black Proton Iswara. The passenger side of the Proton was completely smashed but the Honda/Hyundai only damaged its front bumper.

The Iswara's owner was a 32 year old man who was filling up his car with petrol when the Honda/Hyundai suddenly crashed into him and his car. The women suffered minor injuries while the man was rushed to the hospital where he died at 2.15am due to head injuries.

Authorities said that the 23 year old women skidded after it was involved in a collision with another car near the petrol station.

For whatever reason it may be, the guy died because of the women.
She must have been speeding like mad because if she wasn't then she could have easily hit the breaks in her 1st collision before crashing into the station. If you watched the video you would see that her car wasn't breaking when her car skidded into station, it was speeding into the station like she wanted to crash.

Or

(Auto car) She could have hit the accelerator down to the max instead of the breaks during her 1st collision. Auto drivers CAN hit the wrong pedals in the mist of confusion.
*She's driving at around 60-80km/hour,a car suddenly cuts in front of her, she automatically turns the wheel to the left to avoid it, accidentally steps on the gas instead of the breaks, VROOM, CRASH !!!*

Or

She was drunk driving, didn't pay attention to the road, got frightened awake when other cars honked at her and she instinctively turned her wheel and it went out of control and skidded into the station.

OR

She was just plain SUICIDAL AND WANTED PEOPLE TO DIE WITH HER !!!
And someone did~ RIP

Historic Town of Malacca

So this is the continuation of the previous post in PD.

We packed and left Teluk Kemang beach at 4.00pm and used the old road to get to Malacca. Our cars got separated into two types of car; the wet car and the dry car. Meaning the ones that went to play in the water sat in the Myvi and the ones who was on land the whole time sat in the Kelisa.

We were dead tired while driving to Malacca.
I think each of us got hurt somewhere after sitting the banana boat.
Delan got bumped in the head, Raymond hurt his leg, i got my left shoulder hurt and i don't know if Sam's alright because he didn't say anything about pain. Raymond still had to drive with his leg like that.

Once we were in Malacca, we went straight to hotel hunting.
We had a wonderful hotel booked before this but our leader cancelled it because there was an extra person coming. He was afraid 6 girls would be too cramped in a room so he cancelled it and wanted to book a bigger room. He found a another bigger hotel and booked two rooms, one for the guys one for the girls. But during the last minute our extra friend cancelled on us and the hotel our leader just booked had an error and gave our rooms away to another customer. So that was why we were hotel hunting.

We found a nice cozy place to crash in Hash House Hotel.
Unfortunately i don't have any pictures of the place.
It isn't a big and fancy hotel and it doesn't have a swimming pool but it does have a pub. But of course we didn't go in there. The rooms were alright. We had astro in the room and the bathroom has a wide shower area. We rested up for an hour or so and left for dinner at 7.00pm.

Delan and Raymond are Malacca people so if they say satay celup is the best then it's the best. We reached at an old shop packed with customers and a line of new customers lining up outside the shop waiting for their turn to eat. It shop wasn't all that big. It only had roughly 10 tables, big medium and small all together. And it was really very cramped inside.

Satay celup is basically steamboat + satay sauce.
The food is all on sticks and is cost 80cents each for every kind.
We waited for almost an hour outside and i tell you the people there eat and eat and eat even after they're full. They just keep eating. There isn't a time limit to eat so if table 1 wants to eat for another hour then they'll eat another hour. People outside would just have to wait until they're done or for another table.

We finished at 9.00pm and went straight back to our hotel.
The guys wanted to go clubbing but the girls wanted to stay.
I have never been to a club but i know about two of my friends who has been there and i don't know about the other two. The two who's been to clubbing said they didn't bring their proper clubbing attire so they didn't wanna go. The rest of us didn't say a word about it.

Delan came to our room and asked if we wanted a drink.
He brought two cups in with a mixture of vodka and fruit juice. One was ribenna the other was orange and he brought his own cup in mixed with red bull. It tasted nice. He even brought in half of the balance cans of Heineken. He entertained us with his ridiculous hilarious jokes before he left with Raymond and Sam for the clubs in Malacca at 10-11pm.

Us girls had our own party in our room for just a short while. Two crashed into bed at 12.00 then the 3rd not long after that. So it was only me and Ivy still wide awake. We didn't wanna wake the babies sleeping so we went outside to gossip.Lol. We even considered a few times of abandoning them and leave for a late night McDonald's snack. But of course we didn't because someone had to lock the door and open it for us. We heard the guys come back at around 3.00am so we went back in to crash.

Woke up at 10.00am and checked out at 12.00pm.
My turned to drive the Kelisa.
We went to Jongker Street for breakfast. at a Baba Nyonya house.
Damn the seafood laksa was DELICIOUSLY YUMMY !!
The asam laksa was tasteful.
And the cendol was AWESOME !!!
Ice kacang was AWESOME !!!
I wanna eat them again but it's all the way in Malacca.

Haha there was an antique kinda car outside on the road so we took pictures of it just for fun. We didn't get to visit much of Malacca and we had to leave early because our leader had things to do back in KL. So we left after walking around Jonker Street and back to KL.

I loved our road trip.
Hope to go on my second soon.

A Piece of Us in Port Dickson~

March 19th, 2010.
Morning

We were supposed to meet up at McDonald's at 8am on that day. I woke up extra early at 6.30am just in case and left for McD at 7.45am thinking most of them were already waiting. I didn't expect to the first to arrive. I waited, and waited, and waited, and at some point i thought maybe it wasn't the right day. Finally at 8 something Shi Qi came and she thought she was late. Her mum came to drop her off and ate breakfast together in McD before going home. And then the waiting began again. We three waited, and waited, and waited finally Shi Qi called Delan and he said "I'm on the way ! I'm on the way !" while i sms-ed Ivy and she also replied gonna reach gonna reach.

We waited again, and again, and again and finally Ivy, Meigie and Hooi Ching arrived together in a Kelisa at 9 something. We called Delan again and he said the same thing. He reached around 10.00am. He had a friend with him, Raymond. Then Delan said another friend is coming so we had to wait again but this time it was outside of McD. Shi Qi, Delan and me sat in Raymond's Myvi waiting for Sam while the others went to buy take outs for the guys. Sam appeared around 10.30am and we finally could leave KL for Port Dickson.

We arrived in Port Dickson's Teluk Kemang beach at exactly 11.30am.
There were sun, sea, sand and us.
We were totally ready to do our stuff.
We got ourselves a tent and did our community project which was about cleaning up the beach. If we see a can, pick it up. If we see a paper pick it up. We even had fliers printed out by Delan, our group leader.

Ok group members, from left:
Delan, HooiChing, Me, Meigie (behind her is Sam but he isn't a member), Shi Qi and Ivy. Raymond is the other guy.

After that it was all fun and laughter.
How could we waste such a beautiful day by just picking up rubbish?

Everyone started to relax after everything.
MeiGie and ShiQi went to buy ice cream, Ivy and HooiChing went snapping pictures, the guys drinking and changing into their swimming clothes and i was anxiously waiting for them to hurry up so that i could sit the stupid banana boat.

I'm having a little regret for not trying out jet ski.
Delan, Sam, Raymond and me sat the banana boat and it was fun until we fell in the water...twice... It was very embarrassing for me because i couldn't climb back onto the banana boat. It was scary yet exciting but i don't think i'll be sitting on another any time soon.

The writings on the sand was a little something to suck up to our lecturer...Hahahaha
Let's hope it works and she'll love it.

Pictures of Malacca will be posted in another post.
I'm sure this post is long enough so i'll just stop here for now~
Just so you know, our trip was a good thing for some of us.
We enjoyed ourselves and forgot about the stress back in KL.

Open House Party~

Went to Snoopy's open house party just now.
I love her new house.
I love the 3rd floor.

Hung out there for a couple hours chatting with my high school classmates.
EngHoe's getting ever thinner every time i see him.
Looks like baking makes you lose a lot of weight.

There were almost 12 of us at our table.
An auntie came to our table while we were talking loudly and laughing.
She sounded like she was scolding us but was actually offering more food to us.
We stopped talking and stared at her blankly.
The way we reacted to the auntie was very funny like in a comedy.

9 of us then left Snoopy's place and went to Nyonya Kopitiam for 2nd round.
MingFei met up with us there.
He came from 2 birthday/open house party.

Adrian went inside and suddenly saw his sister there.
So coincident~

We sat there until 11.30pm and had to leave because Karmun wasn't feeling well.
Next round !!
Papa Rich !! Lol~

Naruto Shippuuden

I watched my very first episode of Naruto when i was in Form 3.
I was playing Final Fantasy up stairs when my two brothers were laughing downstairs. I got up to see what was the commotion all about and saw them watching Naruto's first episode on NTV7. I sat down to watch with them and completely forgot about my Final Fantasy upstairs.
From that moment on i was forever hooked on to Naruto.

I used to like watching the anime but now it's just plain boring. The drawings aren't as good as the beginning and the colors are dull. One small scene can drag up to half of the whole episode and say nothing. So i gave up watching every single episode of it. I only watch the exciting ones now like Sasuke's battle with Itachi and woah that was exhilarating.

I prefer the manga over the anime now.
The manga's all the way up to Sasuke fighting Naruto again and the anime's having a filler and the stories are always the same with different characters.

I'm actually looking forward to the anime version of this part of the manga.
I hope it doesn't turn out like the previous Naruto vs Sasuke episode before Naruto Shiipuuden started where the artist for that episode drew shit out of it.
The drawings were horrendous !!!
Naruto and Sasuke looked like some malformed creature swinging hits at each other.
It's episode 133 "Roar of Tears! You Are My Friend!
Go type Naruto 133 in youtube and you'll know what i mean by horrendous.

Naruto manga is already in chapter 486 and the anime's still sitting in 151.
Episode 151 is the filler and the original story stopped after Naruto failed to find Sasuke after he killed Itachi. Or it should be continuing the story about Jiraiya's death.
ARGHHHH !!!!

Road Trip

Next week me and 5-6 more friends are heading out for our first road trip together. Part of the road trip is for an assignment which will only take an hour to be done with and the rest of the day will be full of fun and laughter.

Our assignment is about conducting a community project and our joke about cleaning up a beach became our goal. We're going to Port Dickson next week and on the very same day right after we finish our project we're heading straight to Malacca for the night.

Our group leader is from Malacca so he's gonna be our tour guide once we get there. It's been years since i've been to PD & Malacca so i'm kinda excited about it.

But there's one problem though.
We still haven't thought about how we're gonna get there.
We could rent an MPV if we can't borrow our daddy's cars.

We're gonna have a blast and i think we're not even gonna remember about the assignment once we get there.

Story of Hachiko

This is one of those very very very super touching movies.
So touching that you feel like crying a river in your house.
If you cried watching Marley & Me, then have a box of tissue near you.

Hachiko is the name of the dog in the movie.
'Hachi' means eight in Japanese and 'ko' means child.
Hachi was probably the eighth pup born.
Hachi is a breed of Akita Inu.
Akita Inu was supposedly the very first dog breed to befriend humans.

Hachiko is a real life story of him which began in 1923, Japan when he was born.
But in the movie it took place in America in the 1990's.

Hachi was flown from Japan to America when he was a pup and got stranded in a train station after his cage fell from the trolley with him in it and an address thrown in half. It was the same moment when Parker Wilson (Richard Gere), a university professor had just step out of the train from work found Hachi and gave him a home.

Everyday when Parker leaves for work, Hachi would walk him to the train station and would come back to pick him up at 5pm sharp outside the station. The town people and train commuters all knew who Hachi was and often talked about him waiting for his master.

In 1998, one day after a year had passed, Parker didn't appear out from the train station's doors. Hachi kept waiting at his spot for his master but Parker never came. His master had had a heart attack while he was teaching in the university and died not long after that. Hachi had just learned how to fetch a ball that day and his master only played with him a couple of times before he went to his final class.

Parker's daughter and husband often came to pick Hachi from the station and took him to their new home. Parker's wife sold off their house and moved to a new location and gave Hachi to her daughter to look after.

Even in a new home, Hachi still ran out when he had a chance and went straight to the train station. The hotdog seller at the side of the station who often spoke to Parker always had an eye for Hachi. He gave him food and water and sometimes Hachi received snacks from people all around him.

Soon Parker's daughter knew how much Hachi wanted to be at the station so she let Hachi go and he has never returned. Hachi made a new home under an abandoned train and it had been his home for the next 10 years. Rain, snow or sunshine, Hachi still waited at his spot at 5pm outside the station for his master.

Parker's wife came back to her old town one day to visit Parker's grave. When she was walking back with Parker's Japanese friend, Ken, she saw a old familiar dog and ran to it. Recognizing it was Hachi, she sat next to him and wept.

The next day Hachi went to the train station at his usual time.
He laid down at his spot and slowly his surroundings became very bright.
And finally he saw his master come out of the doors.
Hachiko in this movie died in 2008 and real life Hachiko died in 1935,
10 years of loyalty to his master.

The original Hachiko is 1930's, Japan.
A bronze statue of Hachi was built in front of the Shibuya station in memories of Hachiko and his loyalty.
