Awesome Avril

Ahahaha Yea !!
Last week was the highlight of my very uninteresting life - I still can't believe it's been one week since AVRIL LAVIGNE was here in Malaysia.

I bought my Tune Talk ticket long before the concert because my internship salary had just cleared and i had RM800 at hand~ 'Happy die me'~ So during lunch hour i went straight to buy my ticket at TheGuitarStore and surprisingly it seemed like no one was in a rush to buy tickets.

Anyways, February 18, 2012 will be a date i will never forget because after fussing over missing Avril's 2008's concert for 4 years, I've finally accomplished it.

Avril's Black Star Tour Concert was held at the Stadium Merdeka and it was raining in the afternoon and then it stopped and continued drizzling almost the entire concert  BUT it was damn worth it. I've lost count of of many songs she sang but she really is good at live performances.

My Tune Talk zone was at the front line so once Avril came out, everyone from behind started pushing and the front people got squashed a little ~haha~ and this dude behind me wearing black skinny jeans and tight white t-shirt was destroying the buzz because he was screaming all the lyrics in a very unpleasant tune. The crowd was stuffy, the ground was muddy but the performance was a rocket~

It wasn't easy taking all these pictures.
The concert ended around 10.30pm and i thought i could happily go back after witnessing my RM239 leave the stage. But no~ Malaysia's hardworking polis diraja had to 'saman' my car. That jokey guy totally ripped dozens of cars off telling us to park because of the concert.

Avril !! Wish you more success in the future and come back to Malaysia again!!

Dream High

If you asked me to watch a Korean drama 3 years ago, i would say ok ok but i never do because i had absolute no interest in Koreans at that time. I never listened to Korean music, never eaten Korean cuisine, never read news (translated) about Korean entertainment, and i'm very positive i had never seen a Korean person in real life.

Now, 3 long years after my expanded my little bubble, I'm all about Korean related stuffs. I won't be getting into Korean food or K-pop groups but i will be talking about Korean dramas which recently caught my attention.

This drama is called DREAM HIGH and i might have had a High-School-Musical-first-impression but after watching a couple of episodes i threw my first impression away so far that Zac Efron might have felt a slap on his cheek.

Dream High is about the six students from Kirin Arts High School working their way into becoming a music star in the Korean music industry. Kirin Arts High School is famous for producing some of Korea's best K-pop artistes and it is the first step for young pre-debuted artistes to begin their career.

The six students are the main cast in Dream High and unless you don't know, most of them are K-pop singers in real life. Most K-pop artiste are triple threats because they sing, they dance, and they act. It's like a requirement that they know how to dance. I always wonder why the American music industries don't practice the same way as the Korean music industries.

The Cast
Kim Soo Hyun plays the leading male role, Song Sam Dong, the village boy turned superstar at the end. He is more of an actor than a singer but i loved him in Dream High and yes he can sing.

Ham Eun Jung (Vocalist, Lead Rapper) from girl group T-ara plays Yoon Baek Hee & Suzy (Vocalist)  from girl group Miss A plays leading female role Go Hye Mi. Both these two characters were friends turned enemies and back to friends at the end.

Wooyoung (Lead Vocalist, Main Dancer) from boy group 2PM plays Jason & IU (solo singer) plays Kim Pil Sook. These two character made Dream High cute because of their cute puppy love story turned happy ending.

 *I had to*
Taecyeon (Main Rapper) from boy group 2PM plays Hyun Shi Hyuk, nickname Jin Guk.

Dream High even had a few cameo cast.
I don't know all of them but i do know these three ^^

YOU MUST WATCH THIS DRAMA !!!
*But i don't recommend Dream High 2*

Vacation Anyone?

Over the past year and a half, most of my friends and families have been to Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, Prague, UK, US, China, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore. And then Redang, Johor, Cameron Highlands, Penang, Malacca, Port Dickson and even GENTING !!!

I just get so frustrated you know because i want to go too!!! With friends!!! I'm even alright vacationing within Malaysia as long i can get out of KL!!! But every time whenever my friends and i suggest to go somewhere, it ends up being just talk. It always always always end up like this.

The Reasons They All Give Me:

  1. No money.
  2. No time.
  3. My mother don't let.
  4. My father don't let.
  5. Too far.
  6. Wait for the other to confirm first.
  7. I don't wanna miss my classes.
  8. I have assignments to do.
  9. Sit bus? Don't want.
  10. Car? No car, so don't want.
  11. "NO ANSWER"
I'm even prepared to skip class just to get a chance to get a sunburn on the beach !!! But no, they rather be lifeless and sit at home. Sometimes my friends suggest to go here and there but they do nothing after that and expects the vacation to come to us. Or they suggest NEXT YEAR to go here or there. Not next month or the month after that, they need 12 MONTHS to prepare for a holiday. WHAT THE FUCK !!! There are even time when i take the initiative to look for hotels, transportation, entertainments and even souvenirs but do i get a respond? They give me the 11 reasons above without fail!!!

I can feel my chest burning now as I'm typing this.
Honestly if i have the money I'd rather go alone.
