So this is the continuation of the previous post in PD.
We packed and left Teluk Kemang beach at 4.00pm and used the old road to get to Malacca. Our cars got separated into two types of car; the wet car and the dry car. Meaning the ones that went to play in the water sat in the Myvi and the ones who was on land the whole time sat in the Kelisa.
We were dead tired while driving to Malacca.
I think each of us got hurt somewhere after sitting the banana boat.
Delan got bumped in the head, Raymond hurt his leg, i got my left shoulder hurt and i don't know if Sam's alright because he didn't say anything about pain. Raymond still had to drive with his leg like that.
Once we were in Malacca, we went straight to hotel hunting.
We had a wonderful hotel booked before this but our leader cancelled it because there was an extra person coming. He was afraid 6 girls would be too cramped in a room so he cancelled it and wanted to book a bigger room. He found a another bigger hotel and booked two rooms, one for the guys one for the girls. But during the last minute our extra friend cancelled on us and the hotel our leader just booked had an error and gave our rooms away to another customer. So that was why we were hotel hunting.
We found a nice cozy place to crash in Hash House Hotel.
Unfortunately i don't have any pictures of the place.
It isn't a big and fancy hotel and it doesn't have a swimming pool but it does have a pub. But of course we didn't go in there. The rooms were alright. We had astro in the room and the bathroom has a wide shower area. We rested up for an hour or so and left for dinner at 7.00pm.
Delan and Raymond are Malacca people so if they say satay celup is the best then it's the best. We reached at an old shop packed with customers and a line of new customers lining up outside the shop waiting for their turn to eat. It shop wasn't all that big. It only had roughly 10 tables, big medium and small all together. And it was really very cramped inside.
Satay celup is basically steamboat + satay sauce.
The food is all on sticks and is cost 80cents each for every kind.
We waited for almost an hour outside and i tell you the people there eat and eat and eat even after they're full. They just keep eating. There isn't a time limit to eat so if table 1 wants to eat for another hour then they'll eat another hour. People outside would just have to wait until they're done or for another table.
We finished at 9.00pm and went straight back to our hotel.
The guys wanted to go clubbing but the girls wanted to stay.
I have never been to a club but i know about two of my friends who has been there and i don't know about the other two. The two who's been to clubbing said they didn't bring their proper clubbing attire so they didn't wanna go. The rest of us didn't say a word about it.
Delan came to our room and asked if we wanted a drink.
He brought two cups in with a mixture of vodka and fruit juice. One was ribenna the other was orange and he brought his own cup in mixed with red bull. It tasted nice. He even brought in half of the balance cans of Heineken. He entertained us with his ridiculous hilarious jokes before he left with Raymond and Sam for the clubs in Malacca at 10-11pm.
Us girls had our own party in our room for just a short while. Two crashed into bed at 12.00 then the 3rd not long after that. So it was only me and Ivy still wide awake. We didn't wanna wake the babies sleeping so we went outside to gossip.Lol. We even considered a few times of abandoning them and leave for a late night McDonald's snack. But of course we didn't because someone had to lock the door and open it for us. We heard the guys come back at around 3.00am so we went back in to crash.
Woke up at 10.00am and checked out at 12.00pm.
My turned to drive the Kelisa.
We went to Jongker Street for breakfast. at a Baba Nyonya house.
Damn the seafood laksa was DELICIOUSLY YUMMY !!
The asam laksa was tasteful.
And the cendol was AWESOME !!!
Ice kacang was AWESOME !!!
I wanna eat them again but it's all the way in Malacca.
Haha there was an antique kinda car outside on the road so we took pictures of it just for fun. We didn't get to visit much of Malacca and we had to leave early because our leader had things to do back in KL. So we left after walking around Jonker Street and back to KL.
I loved our road trip.
Hope to go on my second soon.
