Chinese New Year
is every unmarried people's MOST favorite celebration.
I love it.
Of course i love CNY !!!
How could i NOT possibly LOVE CNY ???

2 things happens after CNY is over:
1. Get fatter.
2. Get richer.
(Yes, fatter so i NEED to go to the gym ^^)


Chinese New Year is when all family members gather together during the Eve of this celebration and have their reunion dinner at either a restaurant or one of their houses.

Last year my family did it at my grandparents house then this year my grandma got lazy to cook so we went to a restaurant. Bloody slow service. We waited outside at 8, went in at 8.30, got served at 9.30 and finished at 11pm. Then went back to my grandparents house to collect angpao ^^

There's 17 of us...my cousins including me and my 2 brothers and 1 more cousin on the way which makes it 18 and i am the lucky number 7th eldest. My reunion dinner wasn't that fun. In fact for the past few years it's been getting duller and duller. 10 years ago was a different story.


The next few day went to other relatives places and some came over to my house. On Saturday i made plans with my high school friends and went to their houses to "bai nian". We wanted to go to this temple "Thien Hou" temple but visiting 7 houses didnt make the time for us to go.

As for today, Sunday, i made plans with my high school classmates to eat 'dimsum' in the morning at 10am.
(Is eating dimsum at 10am early ??? Because only 9 showed up.)
So me & QQ got there 1st. Sat at a table, many waiters came to serve us dimsum but we kept showing our hand saying "tak mau sekarang...nanti ada orang lagi" Then QQ who didnt know how to order tea chose the most expensive tea for us...LOL
After 15 minutes LX showed up, add 1 chair & 1 tea cup.
(Couldn't tahan d so we started to eat first.)
Then 10 minutes Cheng came, add another chair & tea cup.
5 minutes later CF came and added another chair and tea cup.
Next was KC and again another chair and tea cup.
Another 5 minutes later YH reached and by that time 6 of us were squeezing at 1 small square table and drinking tea from the small tea pot QQ and i ordered at first. We had to pull another table over and called for another pot of tea.
Then FK came wearing a singlet and said it was hot...SINGLET !!!
Last to arrive was KM who showed up at 11am.

We refilled our 1st tea pot don't know how many dozen times...seriously...and our 2nd tea pot's tea tasted weird (cheap tea...LOL). Then everything came up to almost rm100.

YH & FK left after we finish so the rest of us cabuted to my house because it's the nearest. Gambled was what we did the whole time.
Cheap cheap we gambled only Rm1
And maximum was Rm10.
T.T i was the dealer at that time and Cheng bet her Rm10 as her last bet and she won !!! T.T

Fun-OK

3pm like that KC, CF, QQ and i went to Fun-Ok while Km went out with her family and LX & Cheng went Sg. Wang. Lol not enough of cards we continued playing "Cho Dai Di" there...AND I WON COUNTLESS OF TIMES !!! BUT WE DIDNT PLAY WITH MONEY THIS TIME !!! Rained very heavily so we sat until 4 like that then left. Before that we ordered something called "Yi Da Dui" meaning 'one bunch' of something...

1 of the most fun CNY...dimsum...gamble...angpao...makan...
Hope next year is EVEN better...

The one thing i like best about this phone is the Qwerty keypads. But your hand can get tired from typing a mini keyboard...
It has MSN but i gotta download the software and install it in the phone which i am so super clueless about how to do it.

The camera ain't bad for 2 mega pixel if compared to Sony's...urghhhh~

UNIFEST CONCERTS ROCKED !!!

Today was THE most COOLEST day of my entire 2 weeks of my 3rd semester.
Seriously, THE most COOLEST day of all.

UCSI is now an official a University, so no more calling it College people.
Today we had an event called Unifest '09
Its about something something and more about that something.
Go look it up in UCSI's web, its YOUR fault for NOT going.
It was SO COOL !!!
The bands ROCKED !!! The dances were AWESOME !!! And our hilarious emcees, Stephenie (Student Council President O.o) & of course Prakash (WE MISSED YOU !!!)

Prakash left UCSI recently to go work with i don't know where and who~ SO UCSI kinda turned into a dead silent ghost sort of place for awhile. Seriously when he was here with "Datuk", there was NEVER a place that was too quiet for you.
So UCSI felt ALIVE again tonight. WOOHOO GO PRAKASH !!!

Fly FM visited and Sony had this competition to win a Sony Handycam worth RM4000 !!!
(WTF !!! RM4000 !!! I WAN IT !!! Too bad i didn't join the competition.)

Ok enough of the the little details.
Unifest started at 1pm today, i don't know what they did for the whole afternoon because i was busy getting a new hp (YEA !!!!). I got back there at 6pm and saw Bobby running down the slope to his car. He was running in Anime style.
Met Anya & Ivy in the lobby then waited for Gerina. I told them i wanted to run over "Michael Phelps" who was literally doing another STUPID thing IN the MIDDLE of the road when i was looking for a parking spot.
SERIOUSLY !!! How IDIOTIC can some people BE ???

Ok so met lots of friends and seniors there. (I forgot about my glowing stick)
The dances started. The Nigerians dancing was very AWESOME. And they have the guts to dance like that and that cool !!!
We stood right in front of the giant speaker and it was like blasting away the music. It was SO FREAKING loud my ear drums almost burst. The ground was vibrating, the crowd screaming wild cheers and the "Michael Phelps" doing his "thing".

Then the bands started playing. The 1st band played Rock music. The sound from the speaker in front of us were torturing !!!! The 2nd band was '3-Plus-Band' (Prakash is in it). At least their songs were tolerable. It wasn't so ear torturing and the female vocalists sounded like the real singer when she sang 'Love Song'. 3rd band was 'Going To The Movies' i think. Wonder why that kind of name for their band~

The other 2 i forgot who was it.
At 8.30 my friends left and we went to Maidin opposite Connaught to eat.
Anya went home so Ivy, Gerina, Peng, Calvin , Edward and me went to MAKAN !!!
Its was strange. Excluding Peng, the rest of us went there to eat together once during our Halloween Night and it was FUN. But this time it was awkward. Sheeesh~
Then Edward, Peng, Gerina & Calvin went home so Ivy & I went back to UCSI to see what else was going on and later we can go home.


DAMN LUCKY WE DECIDED TO GO BACK TO UCSI !!!

Because when we went back we were looking around and almost wanted to go back. THEN they annouced that 'J4N' one of the bands were up so we went from"Let's go home" to "LETS STAY FOR AWHILE !!!". J4N performed at The Hive before during my 1st semester. But i forgot why i didn't watch their band jam. T~T My friends said they ROCKED !!! And this time they came back again.

J4N J4N were performing and our emcees were part of it. See the 4 people lined up. Prakash was leading them dancing infront of the stage while J4N ROCKED ON !!!

Their lead singer Justin !!!There are 2 more performences. A women name Juwita Suwita i think, came and sang. Then a guy name Liang i think, also sang. Their kinda famous i think.
But still i think J4N was the best.
(1 of the reason might be because the lead is CUTE !!! YES HE IS !!!)

I don't think i've ever screamed that loud in a very long time. And it felt good because many stuffs happened recently and it felt relief to let it out. Just scream because no one will look at you because everyone was also doing it. Everywhere i turned they were people screaming, the speakers were blasting away, the drummer and the guitarist who caused the whole area to shake, vibrate, move, whatever you wanan call it and the echoes of everything.
The last song they performed was one of Jay Chou's song. I forgot the name but i liked it !!!

Its too small to see the whole band~ There are 6 people.
After they finished Prakash came on stage and swore he saw a girl crying in tears by watching them jam. Unbelievable. A friend said J4N performs in somewhere in Damansara together with the other bands including the "5 Barbarians" ^^

My head hurts and my ear drums are still ringing. We were up front. Front row. VIP spot !!! (Kidding) But close enough. And the closer we got the stronger the vibration got. Experiencing this once in awhile is good experience.

Time Waits for No Man~

Its 2009 and I'm already 19 this year.
2008 seemed to just flew by in a blink of an eye.
I got my 1st part time job (which i disliked the most) during Jan until middle of March.
I gave myself a break after that until May.
I started my college life from then onwards and now its already been a year.

Time seems to fly when you are not being controlled by teachers in school, parents who pester you to come home early or countless tuition classes your parents send you to.
Just like that a year has passed.

To me it seemed like yesterday Pn. Shanti, my "beloved" discipline teacher was shouting at every student she sees hanging outside of class.
My English teacher calling me to answer her questions every time i make or don't make eye contact with her.
(Tips to still schooling readers, DO NOT make eye contact with your teachers if you don't wanna answer their questions. Trust me, I have experiences. Too bad it didn't work on my English teacher. LOL )
My Science teacher acting serious but cracks jokes with us sometimes.
My Math teacher who gets messy with her teachings when she is in a hurry.
My Accounts teacher who can't seem to slow down her rocket speed speech.
My Economic teacher who says she only shops at high class complexes but was caught by me when she was in Sg. Wang drinking coffee in Delifrance.
My Art teacher with her blinking either left or right eye. (nerve problem i think)
And of cause my Moral / class teacher, Pn Nalini who enjoys teasing some of us "sometimes".
(If i forgot any teachers plz dont report me to them...PLZzz 5E3...TQ !!!! Hehehe)

There are few dozen more teachers but i think i ought to cover my class teachers first...And so high school life ended just like that and 2008 went with it.

Life is short. Yes it's really short.
I just watched finish One Litre Of Tears (the series is better). Its a true story and this was my 2nd time watching it...DANG IT'S SADDENING !!! YOU KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I CRIED !!! YES CRIED BECAUSE ITS TRAGIC !!! ITS THE MOST TRAGIC SHOW I'VE EVER WATCH IN MY ENTIRE LIFE !!! EVEN GUYS CRY WHEN THEY WATCH IT !!! SOME CRY WORSE THAN A GIRL !!! (no hard feeling R) Especially the last two episodes. I told my friend i was watching it again so she went and watch as well and she cried her eye balls out of her eye sockets...LOL

Anyway my point is...(I'm bad at this kind of stuffs)...you wont know when you will DIE !!!
Catch a disease , get into an accident, a fight or even a bad break up and DIE !!!
(Sorry about the die die die stuffs...i got affected by the show.)
Examples of these stuffs...bird flu/SARS. Malaysia got hit by the diseases and how many people died eh...Some were even just kids...
Car accidents like the 1 happened last year where the lorry crashed into the stone wall outside of GIANT. A friend's friend was in that accident.
Fighting happens everywhere. Fight with your mouth and hurt someone mentally or fight with your fist and puts someone in the hospital or better 6 feet underground.
As for break ups, I've never had a relationship before (there i said it). But i do know some people who had bad break ups and can't get over it (nothing suicidal happened !!!).

I'm already 19. Last year i planned to do many stuffs but in the end i ended up lazy to do it. Bummer~and so my 18years old year just flash by just like that.
SO !!! BIG ANNOUNCEMENT !!! I WILL TRRRRRY TO DO THE STUFFS THAT I ORIGINALLY PLANNED TO DO LAST YEAR !!!

Super emotional movie

Its kinda long so just bare with it ok~ i was bored...

1 thing i hate about Japanese movies is that...they like to film unnecessary silent scenes. Some movies they waste time just filming the actor's/actress's face staring into space for 3-5 damn minutes...sometimes even longer...just like anime.

Few days ago i read a friend's blog about a Japanese movie:
Taiyou no Uta
It's a little similar with One Litre of Tears.

Girl with life threatening diseases. Boy falls in love with girl. In the end girl dies at a young age. Boy is sad but stays strong...bla bla bla...

So...i was bored out of my skull coz its still my semester break and i still don't have a car to go out because the damn junk decided to DIE during my holidays. My friend said in her blog that the movie can be found in Youtube so i went to watch...

Taiyou no UtaThis movie is about Amane Kaoru (YUI), an amature singer/guitarist who suffers from a rare skin diseases call Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP). Because of her disease, she only goes out during the night because sun's ultraviolet rays can be fatal to her.
(Yes i copied some parts from the net ^^)

Later she meets a boy, Fujishiro Kouji, a surfer who she sees every morning from her room window waiting at a bus stop. Then one night while she was performing outside the train station, she sees Kouji passes by and chases after him and soon they became friends. Kouji promised to see her perform so one night when Kaoru's spot was taken by another street performer, Kouji takes her to the city and she performs in front of him. Slowly crowds start to gather to listen to her.
(I like 'Goodbye Days'. Celine sang that song before at The Hive.)

Later they go to the beach and Kouji asks Kaoru out. That little happiness ended when Kaoru realizes that she only has a short time to rush home before sunrise.
(Kinda like Cinderella eh~the only thing is that this story kills if the character is late.)

Kouji find out about her diseases from Kaoru's best friend, Misaki, after getting yelled and hit by her for bringing Kaoru back home seconds before sunrise. After that incident Kaoru refuses to see Kouji until one night her dad invites him over for dinner and surprised Kaoru. Kouji finds a part time job to earn money for to help Kaoru make her debut single.

Soon Kaoru's diseases worsens and she is unable to hold her guitar anymore. But as long she still has her voice, Kouji's plan can still work out. After she finishes recording her music, she goes to the beach wearing her protective suit to watch Kouji surf.

The ending is about Kaoru laying in her coffin covered with sunflowers and surrounded by people .
(I hate sunflowers !!! Seeing her covered by them and only leaving her head out like that creeps me out !!! )
Kouji is standing at the spot where Kaoru used to do her street performance and he takes out Kaoru's CD and listens to it. Her friends and family are also listening to it and later they jump for joy when they start hearing it on the radios.
Then we see Kouji staring into the sunset and rushes into the sea with his surf board.

This movie ain't that sad if compared with One Litre of Tears.

(I prefer the series rather than the movie. So watch the series)

Ikeuchi Aya (Erika Sawajiri), a 15 year old ordinary girl from a family of 6 who owns a tofu shop is diagnosed with a diseases similar to Amane Kaoru in Taiyou no Uta, Spinocerebellar Ataxia. A terrible disease where the cerebellum of the brain gradually deteriorates to the point where the victim cannot walk, speak, write, or eat. A cruel disease, as it does not affect the mind in the least.

Aya meets with Aso Haruto on the way to school to take their entrance exam. Aya's mom, a former nurse notices her daughter's strange movements and decides to go ask a doctor about it. Meanwhile Aya and Haruto starts to be friends when they coincidentally went to visit a stray puppy.

As time pass, Aya became aware of her situation and went to investigate about it by herself but didn't realized that Haruto has also became aware of Aya. Soon she found out about her illness and says it's alright because she will overcome it. Her 2 best friends Mari and Saki were there to help her and Haruto as well. Her mother went to inform Aya's school about her illness and asked if help her out in school.

Things went on smoothly until Aya's illness got worse. By that time her parents couldn't hide the truth from their other children anymore and so they told them everything. Aya's 1st sister, Ako had a hard time accepting her sister's illness but soon gave in. But things weren't that nice in school as Aya's condition have been pulling her class's studies behind. Complains have been made by students and parents and was brought to the PTA meeting. Aya's mom tried to defend her daughter and was overheard by Haruto who was passing by.

Aya finds Haruto easy to talk to and so she spends time in the bio lad with Haruto and helps him with his lad research and whenever she feels down Haruto finds kind words to comfort her. But Haruto's father, Dr. Aso who works in the same hospital where Aya goes to do her checkups and rehabilitation is concern about his son's relationship with Aya and wants Haruto to end it.

As Aya's illness goes to another level, she willingly goes to a special school for the disabled and meets a girl name Asumi who suffers the same fate. Haruto visits Aya for the first time at her new home and decided to take her to the aquarium as their 1st date. He buys a dolphin key chain for Aya to hang on her handphone. On their way back it started to rain heavily and they got soaked. Aya's parents scolded Haruto for being irresponsible but later apologized to him. Later Aya called Haruto on his HP and apologized as well and said that they live in different world and hung up crying.

A few days later Haruto visits Aya again and confesses his feelings for her. 3 years has passed since Aya was diagnosed and it was time for her to leave her school. Haruto is preparing for his college entrance exams and soon he was wheeling Aya through his college campus showing her around. Aya has been admitted back to the hospital for closer observations as her illness gets worse. Meanwhile, Haruto's dad confronts Aya's mom and tell her about his concern about their children's relationship. One day Aya accidentally embarrassed herself infront of Haruto and was asked to leave by Aya's mom. That night Aya's mom finds Aya by the pay phone by herself and she finally breaks down and her mom comforted her. Aya decided to write a love letter to Haruto and later hands it to him at her teacher's wedding outside the church.

Later back in the hospital Aya started to choke while Haruto was walking on the bridge when he remembered Aya's letter. Aya tells her parents that she is breaking up with Haruto since she has no future with him. Haruto starts to shed tears as he reads on and finds the dolphin keychain he bought for Aya in the envolope. Aya's dad couldn't control his emotions anymore and left her room to cry outside.

Years passed and Aya has already reached age 25. But unfortunately her illness has also reached its peek. Haruto still visits Aya. And soon she passed away in the very same room she has been in for the pass 7 years. Everyone is devastated but tries to deal with it as it was Aya's final wish.
Haruto becomes a doctor in the future and Aya's sister, Ako successfully became a nurse.

Aww man...i really cried watching this show...

Something good and yet bad happened just about 30 minutes ago.

Dad ask to go to our old house in Taman Suntex to help out with stuffs. So mom, bro and me went. After helping out mom and bro went home with the mini van and i drove the "rotting old dusty squeaky dirty" saga home.

Ok !!! So while driving back, i turned at the turning and sped up and changed from 2nd gear to 3rd. And at THAT TIME the car's engine suddenly died...WHILE i was ON the highway...in the MIDDLE of the highway...

Ok there were 2 things that 1st jolted to my brain.

2nd was : YES !!! NEW CAR !!!

Lucky thing is that behind me was the traffic lights and so 'ngam' the lights turn red so there weren't any cars coming so i could just zip to the side of the damn road...
Call dad, dad came, check the car, re-park the car to the side (push), got in the big van, went home &
CROSS MY DAMN FINGERS AND HOPE THAT THE SAGA WONT START !!!
Now i just have to wait and see if the stubborn 19 year old car will still live on or just die so i got a damn solid excuse to ask for a new car.
